- Manage purchase requests and purchase proposals in close coordination with the relevant departments
- Place supplier orders and oversee the purchasing process from order placement through to delivery follow-up
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations to secure the best possible terms
- Support Bid and Project Management in the preparation of customer quotations and project proposals
- Ensure supplier and item master data remains accurate and up to date in the system
- Handle supplier returns efficiently and with great attention to detail
- Track orders and delivery schedules to help ensure smooth and timely procurement
- Foster strong supplier relationships and contribute to their ongoing development

- Structured and independent way of working, combined with strong communication skills, negotiation skills, customer focus, teamwork, assertiveness and resilience
- Very good MS Office skills, ideally with experience in SAP Business ByDesign or another ERP system
- Good written and spoken English skills
